Rules and conditions governing the use of Araveth.

By creating an account, accessing Araveth, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Araveth account and for all activity that occurs through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account and to keep that information reasonably up to date.

Araveth may offer one or more forms of virtual currency that players can obtain through gameplay or purchase using real-world money.
Virtual currency:
Purchasing virtual currency provides you with a limited license to use that currency within Araveth. It does not give you ownership of the underlying game data.
You may not sell, purchase, exchange, or transfer Araveth virtual currency for real-world money or other compensation outside systems expressly provided by Araveth.
Araveth may modify the availability, pricing, purchasing power, or functionality of virtual currency as the game evolves.
Araveth may provide virtual items including equipment, materials, cosmetics, pets, perks, upgrades, collectibles, and other digital content.
Virtual items exist solely as part of the Service and do not represent physical property.
Your account provides you with a limited, personal, revocable license to use virtual items within Araveth according to the game's rules.
Araveth may add, remove, rebalance, rename, modify, or otherwise change virtual items and their attributes as necessary for gameplay, balancing, development, security, or other operational reasons.
Changes to game balance or item statistics do not automatically entitle a player to a refund.
Certain Araveth features or digital content may require payment.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Araveth does not directly store complete payment card information when payment information is handled by the payment processor.
Prices and applicable taxes, where required, will be displayed before a purchase is completed.
By completing a purchase, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
You agree not to make fraudulent purchases, use unauthorized payment methods, or improperly initiate payment disputes or chargebacks.
Because Araveth sells digital content that may be delivered or credited immediately, purchases may generally be considered final once the purchased virtual currency, item, perk, or other digital content has been delivered or used, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Araveth may consider refund requests for circumstances such as:
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer protection rights that cannot legally be waived.
If a payment is refunded or reversed, Araveth may remove the corresponding virtual currency, items, perks, or other benefits from the account.
If you believe a payment was made incorrectly, you should contact Araveth before initiating a chargeback when reasonably possible so that the issue can be investigated.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in restrictions being placed on the associated account.
If a payment is reversed, refunded, or charged back, Araveth may remove virtual currency, items, perks, or other benefits associated with that transaction.
Araveth will not penalize a player solely for exercising legitimate rights provided by their payment provider or applicable law.
Araveth may allow players to trade certain virtual items or game currency with other players.
Player-to-player transactions are part of the game and do not create real-world ownership rights in virtual items.

Araveth is an evolving online game.
Game mechanics, drop rates, experience rates, skill requirements, item statistics, prices, rewards, virtual currency values, NPC behaviour, locations, skills, and other gameplay systems may change over time.
Such changes may occur for balancing, development, security, economic stability, or gameplay reasons.
Players are not guaranteed that a particular item, strategy, skill, feature, or virtual asset will retain the same usefulness, rarity, or in-game value indefinitely.
Araveth may contain gameplay systems involving random outcomes, including resource gathering, combat rewards, rare item drops, treasure, crafting results, or other chance-based mechanics.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these mechanics exist solely for entertainment within the game.
Virtual items and game currency obtained through these systems cannot be redeemed through Araveth for real-world money or monetary prizes.
Araveth does not provide wagering for real-world money or cash prizes through these gameplay systems.
Araveth may provide chat, messaging, player profiles, or other community features.
You are responsible for content you submit through these systems.
Araveth may moderate, remove, restrict, or review content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate abuse, maintain the Service, or comply with legal obligations.
Do not disclose sensitive personal information through public game communication systems.
Araveth and its original game content, including its name, software, source code, graphics, artwork, game systems, characters, locations, lore, designs, logos, and other original materials, are owned by or licensed to the operator of Araveth and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you permission to use Araveth for personal entertainment. They do not transfer ownership of Araveth intellectual property to you.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, reproduce, or commercially exploit Araveth or its content except where expressly permitted by Araveth or applicable law.
If Araveth allows you to submit text, images, messages, character descriptions, or other content, you retain any rights you legally hold in that content.
By submitting content to Araveth, you grant Araveth a non-exclusive license to store, display, reproduce, and process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, promote, and improve the Service.
You represent that content you submit does not violate the rights of another person.
Araveth may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the security, integrity, or operation of the Service.

Game progress or data may occasionally be corrected, restored, rolled back, or removed when necessary to address technical problems, exploits, corruption, or security incidents.
Araveth is continuously developed and may change significantly over time.
Features, skills, locations, items, game systems, interfaces, rules, and other aspects of the Service may be added, modified, or removed.
Araveth may also discontinue part or all of the Service.
Where reasonable, significant changes affecting paid services will be communicated to players.
Araveth collects and processes certain information necessary to provide and secure the Service.

By using Araveth, you acknowledge that information will be processed as necessary to operate your account and provide the Service.

Araveth is not responsible for third-party websites or services that are not under its control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Araveth and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful use of Araveth, your material violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
These Terms may be updated as Araveth develops, applicable laws change, or new features and services are introduced.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will identify the latest revision.
For significant changes, Araveth may provide additional notice through the website or game.
Continued use of Araveth after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Newfoundland and Labrador and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
